To our valued customers
A COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY
At Coveris Advanced Coatings as we drive our development of excellent services and quality products, we are extremely conscious of our responsibility towards the local community and the environment as a whole. We have therefore thought very carefully about how our activities could potentially affect the environment and what steps we need to take to minimise any impact.
We are writing to you today to announce that effective 1 December 2013, Coveris Advanced Coatings will be making a change to our current packaging design for tecnilith® diazo phototool films. We will begin implementing this change beginning 1 December 2013 and the change will be in full effect once we deplete the current inventory of the black polyethylene sheeting material.
We have a global responsibility to reduce our environmental footprint by reducing or eliminating unnecessary packaging materials. To this end, and by moving to a vacuum sealer on our tecnilith® diazo phototool converting and bagging operation, we will discontinue the use of the black polyethylene sheet at the top and bottom of the phototool bag. This small change will result in the elimination of large quantities of plastic materials being sent to landfills around the world.
We are all responsible and we are all able to make a contribution to a more sustainable environment by eliminating waste and reducing our manufacturing footprint. Thank you for your help and understanding. If we can answer any questions please email Jeff Jarvis, Global Manager Electronics at Jeff.Jarvis@exopack.com.
